Watch- Recording Of Katmai Coast Expedition 2021 Highlights Webinar

By · On October 26, 2021

I recently did a webinar showcasing some of my favorite images and stories from the September expeditions I guided this past summer for Natural Habitat Adventures on the Katmai Coast. I show many images i Have not had a chance to share yet, check it out!

The salmon run was very good this September, and ran later than normal. All the bears had more than enough salmon to fatten up nicely for winter, and all the cubs looked fantastic.

I love to shoot backlight in September, as the sun is at a lower angle in the fall, and the steep mountains surrounding the rivers provide a magical black backdrop.

Beautiful low angle sun, tons of beautiful bears, and happy folks.

Bad girls of the river mouth.

Once in a lifetime…..

I love September bears – fat, happy and beautifully furred.

I love September on the Katmai Coast. Fewer people, fall colors, beautiful bears, low angle sun. Comment below and let me know if you liked the webinar!

Keep exploring! Brad
