One Last Step To Stop Bear Snaring in Alaska- 24 hours left, Last Chance!!!!

By Brad Josephs · On March 8, 2012

Back in May, I helped circulate an online  petition written by the Alaska Wildlife Alliance to stop the snaring of bears.  Click here to see the article.   The petition received 2700 signatures, and has been submitted to the Board of Game for a meeting currently in progress.  The Alaska Wildlife Alliance just circulated an update urging people to take one more step- call or email the the Governor’s office  at (907) 465-3500 or governor@alaska.gov to plead for help from him on this issue.  A quick email or a call today might make the difference.  We must stand up for the value of bears, and maintain ethical wildlife management standards in Alaska.  Read the latest excellent article by Bill Sherwonit about bear snaring  by clicking here.
